Unclog a bathroom sink:
- Remove stopper
- Use a rag to plug the overflow
- Cover the drain with the plunger – making sure you fill the sink with
- Push the plunger down without losing suction – repeat a couple of times
You need two plungers to unclog a tub or double kitchen
- Fill bathtub or kitchen sink with enough water to cover half the rubber plunger cup
- Kitchen sink: push down on one plunger to create a seal (left side) while
- Bathtub: plunge both the drain and the overflow at the same time – remove overflow cover if possible
Note: Refrain from using drain cleaner before plunging – if you have, wear safety glasses and rubber gloves as it may splash up.
